Hours had passed. The scenery had changed around the Baron as quickly as though he had come through a luscious mountain valley into a scorching desert. The lush grass and the soft breeze vanished as they crossed out of the border of the Cat Kingdom, replaced with the brown reeds of once healthy greenery and the dark twigs of dead shrubs. He didnt dwell on the scenery as much though when he saw in the distance the towers of what must surely be his destination. Haru had never been a fighter, and though she felt trapped she let her good judgment guide her and decided simply to follow the cats wherever they took her. Every so often she would glance around at the cats, all with the same glowing blue eyes that the black cat in front had and all bearing cat sized spears, things she had no intention of finding out if they could actually wield. There seemed to be no real difference between any of them save their colours, which she didnt suspect mattered when it came right down to it.
